NCA News & Happenings

Happenings:

1. We are participating in the American Legion’s Christmas Bazaar on December 6th, 2012.
2. NCA has a table in front of Salvador’s every Wednesday during the “tianguis”. We provide information to interested people and sell hand crafted items made by members.
3. The Thrift Shop continues to be a successful source of our funds for administrative and overhead cost. We encourage you to visit the shop. Remember the shop can use your donation of almost anything!!
4. Board Meetings are held regularly at the Nueva Posada and date and time announced in the Guadalajara Reporter. You are welcomed to join us at any time. We are always looking for volunteers.
5. Guadalajara Reporter printed the event of St. Andrew’s Church Yard sale funds distribution to local charities, which include NCA. They will sponsor 3 students for one year, one blind boy in Secondary and 2 students finishing High School, this with the NCA Chapala Office.
6. Guadalajara Reporter also announced that the Chili Cook-Off Board of Directors helped out local charities, one of them being NCA. This donation will go to help special projects of the organization.
7. Last Saturday March 24th -2012, Auctioneer David Pierson held an Art Show Auction in which they decided to help NCA students with the 20 percent of the profit.

AGM & Board Meetings

Our board of directors meets monthly, normally on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings are held either at The Neuvo Posada, or at NCA's office in Cpala. For the date and time of our next meeeting, please consult the Guadalajara Reporter.
